We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

or Board Certified Assistance Behavior Analyst (BCABA)!

Providing in-home ABA services to clients in the Anchorage area




The Behavior Analyst is the leader of the client's team. The Behavior Analyst will conduct initial assessments, write treatment plans, conduct FBAs and write BIPs. The Behavior Analyst will monitor the client's programs across home, school and community settings.

Primary Responsibilities

·         Initial and ongoing assessment of clients' daily living, social, and communication skills and behavioral issues including the following:

·         Obtain a relevant health, medical, behavioral, and psycho-social history

·         Obtain a relevant intervention history

·         Conduct criterion-referenced assessments such as:

o   Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS)

o   Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB MAPP)

·         Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessment if needed

·         Identify the needs of the individual as a result of the evaluation of the collected data

·         Develop individualized treatment plans for both:

o   Skill acquisition

o   Problem behavior reduction (based on function)

·         Determine the effectiveness of the plan of care through documentation of client outcomes

·         Reassess and modify the plan as necessary to achieve established goals

·         Monitor progress for all programs for clients and make data-based revisions as needed

·         Formulate clinical judgments based on data gathered to establish plan of care, prognosis

·         Record information in medical record compliant with regulatory requirements

·         Provide relevant treatment and patient education

·         Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies

·         Participate in quality assurance review on a periodic basis, including systematic review of records and treatment intervention plans

·         Provide treatment based on the assessment, within the scope of the BCBA's experience and continuing education in the appropriate area of specialty

Additional Responsibilities

·         Maintain confidentiality

·         Attend monthly consultant meetings and present data on clients

·         Coordinate special activity groups (i.e., social groups)

·         Assist in training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

·         Current BCBA or BCABA Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

·         Must successfully pass 10-year background checks at local, state, and federal level

·         Experience with autism, various ages and skill levels preferred
